Polo fans gathered at the Guards Polo Club at Windsor Great Park to watch the final of the annual Cartier Queen’s Cup tournament. Revered as one of the worlds most exciting and prestigious polo events, there was an unrivalled mixture of fast paced polo, socialising and style, highlighting the qualities which has made the Cartier Queen's Cup one of the finest British sporting events.

Watched on by HM The Queen alongside a strong crowd of polo fans, the days events included a parade by the Band of the Grenadier Guards to celebrate Cartier's three decades of sponsorship of polo at Guards Polo Club.  The event also staged the final match for the coveted  Queen’s cup between Zacara and Talandracas.

The match delivered an array of fast paced action and unrivaled skill as both teams fought relentlessly for the honour of winning the days event. An impressive performance over the highly regarded Talandracas ensured that Zacara patron Lyndon Lea stepped forward to receive the trophy from HM The Queen after winning the game with the dominant score of 10-7.

To celebrate Cartier’s 30 years of polo sponsorship, a lavish display including flowers and a collection of Cartier Polo photographs gathered over the past 30 years were displayed for spectators to admire. In addition to this spectacle, Cartier invited guests from the worlds of stage, screen, sport and literature to experience the days events.

Proud to have been both the largest and longest sponsors of polo for the past 29 years, Cartier exceed the highest expectations to organise the finest polo events year upon year across the world.  Revered for their unrillaved craftsmanship, passion and quality, Cartier not only bring you the world’s finest jewels, but also the world’s finest polo events.

Yours Sincerely
Mr British
